Within the past 20 years we have not had to raise our rates. Despite the current economy status and the unpredictable cost increases of insurance and phone companies it is still unlikely that will we have to increases our rates.

As our company grew so did technology, becoming more advanced with time. This advancement allowed for alarm systems to become more precise, easier to use, and now can be easily upgraded as the technology continues to progress. With the technological advancement we now are able to offer our customers a full upgrade of their older system to a Countryside monitored VISTA system for free, as long as they invested in the yearly Monitor and Service Program. This new option gave us the ability to HOLD RATES for incoming customers and give consumers options! By investing in our customer's alarm system, we were able to control our operating costs.

Currently employing 8 technicians and our central station staff, we are surpassing our local competition. Other local alarm companies only employ 3-5 technicians and contract out their monitoring to a subcontracted company. By monitoring our own alarm systems we omit the costs of the other company allowing for us to further our efforts of lowering our customers cost.

Since late 2006 Vermont has become more effective in locating commercial buildings not having TQP fire inspections. Starting in 1992, Countryside became one of the first companies in Vermont to have certified TQP inspectors. Our TQP inspection program offers discounts for buildings we monitor under the yearly Monitor and Service Program. Same as with residential accounts our inspection pricing includes service parts, service calls, and labor. With the State of Vermont cracking down on inspections, other companies are establishing programs, were they will inspect, violate and give the owner a list of repair costs.
